But creating a vision and pursuing it instead of giving up on it can have immeasurable gains.

As Viktor Frankl once said, you have to find optimism in tragedy. Maintain optimism, even in the worst tragedy and you will succeed. The key to happiness is progress, and if you are not making progress, you are declining.
