Your Scars Are Your Superpowers with Seth Andrews

Your Scars Are Your Superpowers with Seth Andrews

In This Episode:

Deciding to leave everything you know is hard, but then again, leadership is hard. When it comes to success, you want to be surrounded by people who are doing what you want to do, and who have the same mindset and ambition that you have or desire to have. You need to surround yourself with people you can learn from, and this sometimes involves leaving the environment you have grown up in or always known. When you have nothing to lose, you try things and take risks, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. This is something this week’s guest knows all too well. They say that adversity introduces a man to himself, and this is ever prominent in Seth’s story.

Seth Andrews is a client and friend based in Nashville, TN, and has spent his career doing consulting work for large consultancies and boutique firms. He is on the leading edge of technology and is helping shape many different industries, but getting to where he is today hasn’t been an easy ride. In fact, it has been quite the opposite. When he was younger, he, unfortunately, became homeless, living in a shelter for years with his family, trying to make ends meet while also obtaining an education. He learned from an early age what he didn’t want from life, and he knew he wanted to be around people who were successful and who he could learn from. So he took a series of actions and changed his circumstances.

Your future is bigger than your past, and your scars make you who you are today. In this week’s episode of Breakaway Wealth, Seth shares his inspiring story and how his scars made him and his success what they have become today. Hear what made him break away from his circumstances and the environment he grew up in, how he began to break into new environments surrounded by people he considered role models and mentors, and what he believes is the biggest differentiator between those who get out of the situations they grow up in and those who don’t.
